They were in Asgard, a place of magic, a place where lots of things that would not happen in other realms, would come true. Was there fate? Were they fated? Given how small Asgard's finest inner circle was, they would have met eventually, especially with Freia being so eager to get her daughter into some kind of relationship with the God of Thunder. But chemistry was one thing, timing another. Perhaps, they had been meant to meet each other on that ball, because both their unhappiness with the event had been what had got them talking honestly. Both of them had risked their integrities, their reputations, by revealing their true thoughts to another. They had taken a risk, a chance, and had succeeded.
Being married to Loki was not an easy task, Sigyn had found that out pretty early. But maybe, being married to her wasn't, either. She was hot headed, had a temper. This would change over time, but Sigyn did not know that just yet. Where there was light, shadows fell. But those shadows would not get the better of her. Of them.
She put her lips on his shoulderblade, chuckled and spoke against his damp skin. "Oh, I want you to be on your best behaviour with me, of course. And I would be quite delighted about no corpses."
Loki could do this, could he not? Spending some time on Midgard without causing deaths? If not, she'd have to distract him. Could she....could she distract him or would that be bad for the baby? She'd have to ask Greta about it. Of course, talking to her girlfriends had revealed that some of them had made love to their husbands even when pregnant, but now that she was the one, she felt a little more insecure about it.
"You're wrong,", Sigyn argued, "I am your wife carrying your child. It is already happening."
Holding perfectly still, she heard what he said. Loki wanted a boy. So, he was not as immune to Asgardian terms of honor and principles as he claimed to be. A boy to carry on his legacy.
Sigyn got up put her hand on his shoulder to steady herself as she carefully walked around him in the large tub. Eventually, she sat down in front of him, but her legs over his and pulled her body closer. Her hands moved over his throat and his collarbone, while her gaze was on his. "I cannot wait to look into a little face that looks like yours, lock my gaze with eyes that shine as brightly as the ones I am looking at right now. Why make do with one Loki if I can have two?", she said in a whisper, leaning in to kiss him. Sigyn opened her lips slightly, when a loud knock on the door sounded.
"Brother!", Thor's voice called out, "I need to talk to you."
Sigyn froze. What in Asgard was going on? And how in Asgard had no one from their staff stopped the Thunderer from invading their private quarters until he had reached their private bedroom?
