Appearance:
Thor has the body of a god, as he happens to be one. He towers above most other men, human or otherwise, being nearly seven feet tall in his true Asgardian form. In the body of Donald Blake, he is a more modest height, being just under six feet tall. In both bodies, he is fit and toned. His Asgardian body, however is thick with muscle mass, leading him to weigh nearly twice as much as Donald Blake. Donald Blake weighs about one-hundred and fifty pounds, Thor Odinson weighs in at about two-hundred and fifty. Both men have bright blue eyes and blond hair. Donald wears his hair short, in comparison to the long mane of golden hair that frames Thor's face. Another contrast is that Thor has a full beard, whereas Blake is clean shaven.
He wears a blue and silver breast plate, and scale mail underneath as his battle armor. Fastened to his breast plate is a long bright red cape of the finest fiber in Asgard, his armor composed of high quality steel. Atop his brow, he wears a winged helm, the sign of his station as a Prince of Asgard. As Donald Blake, he is most often seen wearing his long white doctor's coat, with a pressed white dress shirt and a black tie. Thor and Donald Blake are both strong of jaw, and handsome to look upon. However, Donald Blake walks with a limp and relies upon a cane, due to being crippled.
Personality:
Donald- Dr. Blake is a caring and attentive physician, whose bedside manner has served him well in building a good reputation in the medical community of New York. Blake is a brilliant surgeon, and he approaches life with a sense of humble dignity. He doesn't let his crippled body change how he views people, or the world at large, and tends to put others before himself. He has long held a secret flame of passion for a nurse named Jane Foster.
Thor- The Son of Odin is brash and arrogant, having a great love of conquest and battle, but little understanding of his responsibilities as a Prince of Asgard. He regards his fathers' ways as old fashioned and out of touch with the way things really are. He tends to be dismissive of Odin's counsel to take things slowly with a measured mind. He prefers to throw his hammer first, and ask questions later. Wild and impulsive, Thor embodies much that is the Asgardian ideal. As such, he is much loved by the people of Asgard, and the mortal men who worshiped him centuries ago in the ancient pagan past. His complacency is such that he takes his father's approval and favor fro granted, and has no inkling that his brother Loki bears him any ill will. His love of drink and song nearly rivals his desire for victory in war.
Even despite these shortcomings, Thor Odinson is a noble warrior who fights bravely against all odds. He does not abide the presence of evil, nor does he rest easily when there is an injustice to avenge. He is willing to lay his life on the line for the Nine Realms come the Ragnarok, and every day until then is another adventure in the ongoing battle between good and evil. He has a deep admiration for compassion and bravery, especially in those who lack his strength and power. Such is the reason that he also harbors feelings for Jane Foster.

- Politics- Thor would rather solve his problems with Mjolnir, than have to talk it through, and truces and treaties simply mean that he must do nothing while evil grows stronger.
- Cowards- Thor would rather die a glorious death in battle than to live as a coward. He has no respect for those who won't sacrifice everything for what is right.

- Honorable- Thor plays fair, and he fights fair. He keeps his word, and he refuses to battle someone who cannot hope to stand against him in single combat.
Skills: (at least three)
- Irresponsible- Thor often places his immediate interests over those of others, or simply fails to consider all possible outcomes of even well intentioned actions.
- Impatient- He feels compelled to act on impulse, without ever really weighing the consequences of kicking the door down and throwing hammers at people willy nilly.

Skills and Abilities:
Asgardian Traits
Thor has all Asgardian traits, but being the son of Odin, his attributes are superior to that of the average Asgardian. His lifespan is well beyond that of other Asgardians, having fed upon the Golden Apples of Idunn. He is nigh immortal, and nigh invulnerable. His strength and endurance are at superhuman levels, being able to lift upwards of 100 tons with his bare hands. His bones and muscles are denser than that of mortals and his body is highly resistant to injury. It would take a being of equal strength, or energy of high intensity to cause him harm that he couldn't shrug off or recover from eventually.
Berserker Rage
By performing a chant and sacred ritual, Thor can invoke a warrior's madness that increases his strength by a factor of four. This ability leaves him severely weakened after its effects wear off. The frenzy lasts between ten minutes and an hour, depending on how enraged Thor is. The severity of fatigue is directly proportional to the duration of the frenzy. Thor must rest for several hours in the wake of such as an episode of unbridled rage.
Mjolnir
Mjolnir is a mighty hammer constructed of the Asgardian metal Uru. It was commissioned by the Lord of Asgard, Odin One-Eye himself. Only those posessing great fortitude of moral integrity are worthy to wield the hammer, and such a person, mortal or god, shall be imbued with the power of Thor. Mjolnir allows the wielder to control the elements of the storm- wind, rain, thunder and lightning. Additionally, it is able to open interdimensional portals, commonly used by Thor to travel between Earth and Asgard. It can even absorb energy of various kinds and channel that energy against his enemies. Mjolnir has the ability to shapeshift into an unassuming object, such as a cane. This is the form it takes when Thor is in the guise of Donald Blake. When Donald Blake taps the Mjolnir cane upon the ground, and raises it to the heavens, a bolt of lighting comes down, and transforms him into the Mighty Thor. Thor can revert to Blake by repeating the process, but with the Mjolnir hammer. Thor can use the hammer to fly, and levitate. When he throws Mjolnir, it returns to his hand, thanks to the enchantments placed upon it.
History:
Thor was born the son of Odin the Allfather and the ancient goddess Gaea, and was raised as the adopted son of Odin's wife Frigga. Odin sought the union with Gaea in order to sire a son who would one day rise to surpass him in power and glory. His birth was carried out in a Norwegian cave, many thousands of years in the past. In Asgard, the infant Thor grew to be a hale and hearty lad, with a love of excitement and adventure.
He shared this royal childhood with his adoptive brother, Loki, who had developed a reputation as a trickster at an early age. Thor was oblivious to the fact his brother harbored resentments toward him, due to jealousy over the extraordinary favor shown Thor by all of Asgard, especially their father, Odin One-Eye himself. One such favor was the crafting of the mighty Uru hammer, Mjolnir. Odin had it specially crafted for Thor to one day wield as the mightiest warrior in all the Nine Realms, as had been his fate according to Odin. The royal decree resounded throughout the kindom- once Thor had proven himself a worthy warrior, the hammer and its power would be his to command. After training hard and long, Thor eventually one his title as the greatest warrior in Asgard, and Mjolnir was his at age sixteen.
Thor went on to campaign against the enemies of Asgard, from the jagged frozen halls of Jotunnheim to the burning pits and mountains of Muspellheim, Thor conquered his foes, driving them before his wrath. He became known as the Thunderer to his friends and foes alike, and was loved and feared by each respectively. A time came when the ruler of the Frost Giants and Odin reached an accord. They established a treaty that held for years- until Thor broke treaty and lead an assault on their realm. For his arrogance, Thor was cast out of Asgard and stripped of his Asgardian powers, as well as the right to bear Mjolnir. Thor's spirit was bound to a mortal, Donald Blake. Donald Blake was a crippled surgeon, who practiced his profession in New York. Blake was close to a mortal woman named Jane Foster, a nurse that worked alongside him. Thor was lost in the persona of Donald Blake, and all memory of Asgard was erased from his mind. Odin hoped his son would learn humility, and what better way than to imprison his son in the body of a weak mortal man?
Donald Blake established a good reputation among the New York medical community, and had built a strong base of loyal and happy patients under his careful and loving ministrations. He was a brilliant physician, and made a nice life for himself, in New York, all the while unaware of the divine power that lurked within his own mind. He grew his relationship with Jane Foster, and they have begun dating each other exclusively.
Sample RP:
The Storm raged on. The seas churned, and lightning filled the air, ripping the sky erratically. The Serpent rose from the frothing, churning waves, and opened its jaws wide revealing a maw full of sharp teeth, as large as swords in a warrior's hands. It was rushing on toward him, seething in its hatred and rage. On the shore, tattered banners flew in the wind as storm clouds darkened the skies all around. Bloody spears and swords clashed, as thunder roared in harmony with the sounds of pitched battle. A mighty gargantuan wolf ran through the couragous ranks of his bretheren, and decimated them with his jaws and mystical power. A mighty horde of gigantic warriors shook the ground, and swiped at the warriors with spears, swords and axes. Some of the giants were felled, but the cost in his men was great indeed. The mightiest of the giants was a being wreathed in flames, and made of burning cinders. His wrath wrought destruction and hellish flames in his wake.
The Serpent struck, and he parried the blow with a mighty hammer in his hand. He loosed a mighty blast of electrical energy. A lightning bolt. The creature recoiled and roared, before coming at him once more. The fangs were dripping corrosive venom, and it's eyes were jaundiced, reptilian pits of utter hatred for the warrior it battled now. The feeling of fate surrounding all of this was unsettling, to say the least. He dodged the Serpent's strikes deftly, maneuvering through the air as if it was natural for him. He hit the creature again, and it seemed to fall. But he knew this was a momentary reprieve. It would battle him once more, and both would fall. It was predestined, by the Norns themselves. He flew off into the larger fray, and hefted his hammer high. He threw it forcefully at the king of the Fire Giants, and it knocked him back. He unleashed the full force of his power on the demon, and finished a battle begun so many ages hence. Surtr was defeated once and for all. His next foe was the most important to him. The treacherous man in the horned helm...
"Loki!" Donald blake roared, jumping up, awakening from his troubled sleep. Beside him lay his beloved Jane Foster. That world of battle and fire and ice and chaos was merely a dream. He sighed as Jane stirred. She frowned and gave him a worried look.
"What is that all about?" She asked him.
"A bad dream," He said, not knowing it was a forgotten reality.
