Somehow, Sigyn felt giddy for Loki to wake up and hear her out. When he did and sat up, her eyes were glowing with wonder. He agreed. Good. So this time, his plan - their plan - was a consensual thing. They'd save Midgard from the misery brought upon it by Loki himself. People in Asgard would learn that he was a great leader, regardless of his nature and the fact that most people didn't even know Odin was not his father, but a kidnapper.
Little did Sigyn realize that the root of her change of heart was not entirely her own fault, that she had not just reconsidered and come to the conclusion that it'd be better this way. She did not know that the bond with the Shadow King was still existent, that he planted ideas and mindsets into her head that were unlike her. Maybe, this time, it'd come in handy. Maybe soon, it would not be as convenient anymore. Soon, this connection would turn to poison.
It seemed like Loki and her were prone to end up with complications like this one.
For now, she just hugged him as he kissed her deeply. She even giggled and fell back into bed. This was the kind of Loki she preferred: Determined and not willing to be stopped by anyone or anything.

It was settled, then. They would use Loki's original plan to his greater benefit. Originally he had expected Laufey to take over Midgard with ease, as the mortals had no real way of stopping a new ice age from decimating their population. It would take a god to put an end to it. The last time Laufey had tried it, he had been stopped by Odin; this time, he would be stopped by Asgard again, with Loki and Sigyn at the helm.
This would require a certain level of backstabbing, of course. Loki was fine with that. Laufey had ceased being useful to him the moment he learned of his true birth. With his usefulness ended, Laufey was nothing but a hindrance. So it would be to Loki's double benefit to remove him from the picture.
As for his parentage, he had no qualms about putting an end to the man who was his biological father. He was not planning on it, no. But if that was the only way - if that wound up being the sole route through which he could end the invasion - then so it would be. There would be no great loss. Laufey had given him up, left him to die, probably did not even realize what his fate had been.
This new plan would end in glory for him and Sigyn, unity for Asgard, and, as an externailty, safety for the mortals. Loki would have proved himself worthy to all, and begin his rule with Asgard on his side. whenever Odin should wake up, he would congratulate Loki on a job well done. All would be well. All would be perfect.
And if any being dared harm his wife in any way, he would stop at nothing short of its utter destruction. [Fin Loki]
