If Sigyn wanted to lie down instead, then he would certainly be content with that. As she wrapped her arms around him, he did the same, settling his arms about her waist. She felt good against his body, against his skin. The smell of her mingled with the scent of the ocean, a pleasant combination.
As she spoke of the lack of titles, he kissed her cheek. He knew she preferred to be nothing but herself sometimes, to shake the obligations she had married into. He seldom felt that way, but he did not mind being away from it all on occasion. Now happened to be one of those occasions. They could celebrate in their own way, after having trudged through three weeks of festivities in Asgard.
Taking her hand, he led her inside. The house was designed to be very open, with large windows made of durable privacy glass everywhere. Even indoors, the sea seemed to call to them, as it could always be seen. There was artwork on the walls and little potted plants to add to the atmosphere - not too much, but, in keeping with the tone of the house, just enough to leave a good impression.
The kitchen was well stocked, and it was here that Loki went, rather than the bedroom. Over the span of Loki and Sigyn's lives, the mortals had lost their connection with magic, but had also come up with some clever machines to do what they could not. The refrigerator was one of these; it contained some ice and a few drinks, and Loki suspected there was a wine cellar somewhere on the property, if they cared to drink any more.
"Would you like anything?" he asked Sigyn, ready to retrieve something for her if she did. Once they were all settled in, then he would lie down and rest. He just preferred to have everything in order first.

"Loki,", Sigyn said, putting her hand on his bare chest, "It is I supposed to serve you." He had already teleported them, he had been drinking and now, he was offering to serve her? No, that was not how this was supposed to go. Of course, there might be occasions when Sigyn would gladly accept his offer, but not now. "Would you please rest and relax and let me retrieve a few snacks? It'd do you well after drinking and taking us here." Of course, the God could hold his mead and wine, much better than her. That didn't mean hang overs did not occur. Sigyn could recall a few occasions that had treated both of them well enough to make them regret everything the morning after. Raising a brow, she gently pushed him in order to make him retire to the vast couch or maybe even the bedroom, wherever it was located. "Would you like some...cheese, maybe?", she said, checking the refridgerator. She remembered first having seen such an icebox. She remembered how those things had developed over time. There were no fridges on Asgard, but they had been perfectly able to store and cool their food long before Midgard had made these inventions. Science was not needed as much, if magic was around. Sigyn preferred it that way.

Was she supposed to serve him? If she wished it. She had spoken of helping him rest, and he was indeed a little tired after having teleported them so far, but he was not so tired that he could not help himself. Still, she insisted, so he let her do as she wished.
He might have preferred to have servants to do things like this for them, but that would have compromised their solitude. He could manage some time without servants if it meant being closer to her, and alone with her.
He kissed her cheek lightly. "Cheese and something to drink would be fine." He always felt a little parched after expending so much energy. His hand slipped down to her waist before letting go of her. "I will wait for you in the master bedroom."
There were a few little rooms scattered throughout the home, including an office and a couple of bathrooms. Were he mortal, Loki would probably have chosen such a home; perhaps he would have wanted something a little bigger, but the location was excellent.
There were a few little mortal trinkets and things in the bedroom - a digital clock, a telephone, and such little things the couple would not need. Loki unplugged a few of them before finally stretching out on the bed, making himself comfortable. The bed was plush and soft enough to be relaxing, but not annoyingly so. Waiting for Sigyn to make her way to the room, he turned his head to the window and watched the waves roll onto the beach not too far away.

He'd wait in the master-bedroom? Well, if that did not sound promising, Sigyn did not know what did. This was just an absolute dream, the calm sea right in front of the house, its scent filling her nostrils, an empty, beautiful house for them to use and no one else around. Her heart fluttered thinking about the next couple of days. It very much felt like being in love for the first time once more, but then again, did she not fall in love with him each and every day?
Sigyn collected some cheese from the fridge, a plastic bottle of water - she hated plastic, but Midgardians seemed to be quite fond of it - and even found a bottle of red wine. Carrying the cheese and water in her hands, having the wine float by magic in front of her, she got rid of her shoes and lightly made her way through the house. It took her some time and one wrong turn until she had found it.
Sigyn stopped in the door. There he was, lying in a large bed, looking absolutely flawless. "I wish I had taken my camera," she said. Sigyn had purchased a camera on one of her many trips to Midgard. She had quite a collection of Midgardian items hidden in their closet. Loki knew about it, of course, even though he did not share her interest. "Or," she said, finally breaking her stupor, walking towards him, "I'll just call for an artist and have you painted, so I can add another beautiful painting to my little Loki-appreciation-chamber. The one I never told you about." Disposing the bottles, glasses and cheese on the nightstand, she climbed the bed and instantly, him. He was pinned underneath her. Sigyn smiled a cheeky smile while she put her hands on his chest. "I have a thing for dark-haired princes, you know?"

When she appeared n the doorway, he looked up, in time to catch her admiring him. He always found it flattering that she seemed to find him so attractive. He did not think himself ugly, or anything of the sort, but he had always been the odd one out in his family, the people who had surrounded him. It was nice to be appreciated. Even over all the years they had spent together, her opinion of him still meant the world. Much more than anyone else's did.
His eyes followed her as she entered the room, set the items aside, and straddled him. Well, that was promising. He slid his hands along her sides. "An appreciation chamber?" he asked, smiling. He knew of the Midgardian hoarding in their closet, but the thought of a secret chamber for him had him amused. "Is that where my old tunics have been disappearing to?"
He took one of her hands and kissed it. "I will be the only dark-haired prince you need." After kissing her hand again, he thought better of it and raised his head to kiss her deeply. This had not been a terrible idea; already they were beginning to enjoy the solitude, the time away from everything but each other.

There was no secret chamber. It was all nonsense. But it was fun and light and just what she needed. Sigyn smiled, bend down just to put a kiss on his lobe. "Yes. Old robes, statues and of course, cut off hair.", Sigyn chuckled, biting his lobe. She sat up again, though, her hands on his chest, watching him. "You remember voodoo, do you not? I've heard cut off hair can be of significant advantage should I ever plot some kind of revenge against you." Raising a brow, her gaze turned almost cocky. That was, until he kissed her hand. Had Loki just purred? She tilted her head, her soft hair flowing to the side. "You already are the only dark haired prince I could ever need, my love. And I'm the only princess you need. Otherwise, I might have to,-", she started, but never got to finish the sentence, since Loki was suddenly kissing her rather fiercly. Sigyn needed a moment to adapt, to realize what was going on. But then, she gave into the kiss. She pushed him down with her own weight, placed her elbows left and right of his head and arched her back, moved her hips once. Amazing, how eager a man that had just lost a lot of energy could be, when the woman he loved sat atop of him. Not that Sigyn would mind, of course. "Wait," she whispered. ONce more, she sat up, waved her hand. And with that movement, the huge glass doors of the bedroom opened. A soft breeze entered the room, the sound of the ocean got louder. It almost felt like they were outside. "Amazing," she gasped, inhaling the scent deeply.

Smiling slightly as she played with his earlobe, he eyed her as she teased him about the supposed secret room. "Ah, yes. Voodoo dolls and the like." What was funniest was that Sigyn could easily use her sorcery and exact more powerful revenge without the use of such artifacts. "Then I will be sure not to give you cause for revenge," he replied with a smirk.
Interrupting her speech, the urge to kiss her took over. "Mm," he murmured as she rocked her hips. She could tease and tempt him so easily. Reaching up, he ran a finger along her spine, his gaze locked with hers. He should take the time to simply look at her more often, he realized; too often he took her beauty for granted. He studied her now, taking in all the details of her face as though committing them to memory, drawing his fingers along the outline of her body.
As the breeze swept into the room, Loki closed his eyes and let it brush against his skin. The sound of the rushing water was powerfully soothing. This was the vacation they had needed, the respite from the supposedly festive society they had played their parts in. Here they could be themselves.
"What do you want to do?" he asked, a hint of desire in his voice. She had wanted a beach, though; there would always be time for making love. Of course, if keeping him in this bed was what she wanted to do, then he would have no objection to that at all.

It was probably good she was not a vengeful person when it came to Loki. Otherwise, there would have been plenty occasions she could have taken revenge on. Small things, more significant things, a lot of little incidents throughout their mutual history. But Sigyn would always leave it at pointing her opinion out to him and maybe, ignore him for a day or two. Inflicting any kind of harm on him for revenge's sake would not only backfire on her, but hurt her just as much. After all, she did want him happy and she'd accept being hurt herself.
Sigyn was absolutely able to detect that slight undertone in his voice. She knew him well enough to take the little hints, the details and know what he wanted. Obviously, Loki would leave the choice to her. But with the ocean sounding so peacefully in this room, with the windows open, she was content where she was. Bending down to capture his lips for another kiss, that she broke in a rush just to tease him, Sigyn smiled. "Oh, I think I will just go to sleep, if you don't mind?", she whispered. They'd have a lot of time, for both, making love and taking a swim. Right now, she would not move far away from him. He was perfect in this bed. And he'd even be more perfect soon.

Returning her kiss, Loki growled playfully after she broke it quickly. In truth, he did mind a little, but he appreciated her enough to respect her decisions. "I will join you in a bit," he answered, running his hand through her hair briefly. Turning her over so that she laid on the bed comfortably, he drew a finger along the side of her face as he gazed at her once more.
He reached for a cube of cheese and nibbled at it a bit, then took a small sip of water from the bottle and set it aside. He was no fan of plastic either, but he was adaptable enough not to complain this time. Then he settled in next to her, and adjusted her so that she lay on his chest. He liked when she slept there.
"Sleep well, my love," he whispered, wrapping an arm around her. This was a nice change, and he was glad she had agreed to it. As for how much time they would spend here - they had obligations in Asgard, of course, but for now, in this moment, he had no intention of leaving. Not until they had both had their fill of ocean and solitude.

No no! This was not what Sigyn had planned! She had expected him to pout and convince her not to sleep just yet, maybe with little kisses and some sweet-talking. She would play hard-to-get and fake a yawn or something alike. And then, he might do some naughtier things in order to convince her to postpone resting.
Possibly, Loki knew that she was teasing, he was possibly just playing a game. Sigyn should know better, yet she was a little too stubborn or too impatient to draw this out just now. When he crawled into bed and wrapped an arm around her so tenderly, Sigyn widened her eyes and stared at him. "Lo,-...." she started, sitting up, "this is not what I had in...you were supposed to.....argh!" she complained in frustration, especially since she had fallen so easily for his trick. She climbed him once more, sat down so her knees were pinned on his upper arms and started to pinch his sides. "You are a wicked man, Loki Laufeyson! I will not have that!" She was faking being upset. Well, to some extent, she was upset, rather at herself for being so foolish.

Whatever Sigyn had meant by her words about sleeping, it seemed that actual sleep was not what she had actually expected from Loki. No sooner had he stretched out next to her than she was on him, pinning his arms and yelling at him.
"Shh, Sigyn. I'm trying to sleep." The grin that tugged at his lips gave away the joke. He could not reach her to kiss much of her in this state, and that would not do. He tickled her legs to surprise her and make her lighten up on the pressure she was putting on his arms; then he flipped her, almost slamming her back into the bed with a burst of strength. The bed was large and soft, though, so Loki guessed it should not have hurt too much.
A devilish smile lit up his face now, as he gazed down at her. Wicked, was he? He had plans to be much more wicked than that. "Did you need help falling asleep, my sweet?" he teased, lowering his head to nuzzle his face against hers. adjusting himself to make her more comfortable. He was always in the mood to help her with that, to make love to her until she slept. All she had to do was ask. Or pin him to the bed, apparently.

This vexed her.
Sigyn liked to suggest that she did not have any issues with the fact that he was the superior part of this relationship. Actually however, she had no problems with admitting to his advantage when it came to sorcery. As weird as it was, but knowing that Loki was actually physically stronger than her vexed her. But no matter how much she pinned him against the bed or the wall, no matter hwo much sorcery she'd use, Loki would always be able to flip her around or keep her still.
And he did so with vigor. She gasped as all air left her lungs when she was pushed into the bed. It was more the shock and speed of the movement than the bed itself, for it was very comfortable and plush. She pouted her lips, narrowed her eyes. This was not fair! So Sigyn grabbed for his hair, closed her fist around a bunch of it, while she wrapped her legs around his middle. "Oh, by Hel, will you shut up?", she hissed, pulling him in for a kiss that did not even start gentle, but harsh, almost like battle.
And battle, this was to her. The best kind of it. She was eager to win this fight, however. She'd have to see how this would go.

Grinning wildly, he saw how irritated she was by the ease with which he had moved her. It had barely taken any of his strength; she was light as a feather to him. Why should he not use that to his advantage? He pressed his body against hers, pushing her into the bed, which of course only made it easier for her to reach his hair. At this time it was short, comparatively, but easy enough to grasp a handful.
She captured his lips in a heated, almost violent kiss. There was nothing soft or gentle about the way he returned the kiss; if she wanted to be rough, so could he. He could give her what he wanted and satisfy himself as well. He had learned to do that, to please her without putting himself out. He had no plans to shut up, though; he would mock her and vex her and she would know it meant nothing in truth. Breaking the kiss only to bite and tug at her lower lip, at the same time he ran his hand along one of her legs, clutching it tightly in a rough caress.
"Do you like that, Princess?" he asked, his voice husky and heavy, his hand now slipping along her thigh, inching upward. He smirked at her, his gaze betraying particularly mischievous thoughts.

Of course, Sigyn knew that he was just teasing her, vexing her, because he knew it would drive her mad. But that did not mean that she wouldn't turn a little genuinely mad. This kind of provocation was the best kind, obviously. She loved to fight and spar with him under every circumstances, knowing both would win and lose alike. His arrogant side had always strangely appealed to her. Maybe it was knowing that he was hers nonetheless. Among all the things that were uncertain with Loki, she was sure he loved her and wouldn't leave her. She was sure he adored and desired her. So a little arrogance would not ruin her fun.
He was as harsh with her as she was harsh with him. So Sigyn narrowed her eyes. They shut eventually, when he kissed her passionately. It only made her tug at his raven strands more. Occasionally he wore his hair longer - mostly in times of stress when he neglected it - and she loved it. This length was sufficient enough to be grabbed, however. And grabbing it, she did.
Sigyn exhaled a long gasp as their kiss broke, as he hissed so menacingly. Her facial expression darkened and she pursed her lips. "Get up," she commanded, pushing her body forward in order to push him into the right direction, ignoring his question for now and possibly, for good. She had a plan in mind and that did not include lying in bed. Still, she was arching her back, pushing her body against his, purring.
"Who are you and what are you doing in my house?", a loud male voice suddenly shouted, standing on the balcony, the doors still wide open. He was tall, muscular, had a tan and wore a light summer suit, that looked expensive. He was pointing a gun towards Sigyn and Loki. Behind him hid a petite blonde woman that looked utterly scared. Sigyn turned, momentarily angry about the distraction. She fell back into bed. There'd be some postponing eventually.

At Sigyn's instruction, Loki got up, letting her push him into place with her body. His fingers trailed along her side, drifted to her spine, and he smirked as she purred, his lips hovering just over hers. Wherever this would go, he was certain they would both be pleased with its conclusion.
The unwelcome sound of a man's voice reverberated against the walls. Narrowing his eyes, Loki slowly turned to look at its source. The man might have been considered intimidating by other mortals, but to Loki, he was nothing but a pest. The gun, too, was utterly unimpressive. It occurred to Loki that he could simply kill this man and his female companion, who seemed to be the owners of this place, and never have to deal with this problem again.
"Are all mortals this barbarous and obtuse?" Loki was looking at the man, but he sounded as though he were asking Sigyn. "We are clearly having an intimate moment, yet he risks life and limb by confronting us." He would deal with the nuisance immediately, if only to get it taken rid of so he and Sigyn could have the rest of the vacation to themselves.
Reluctantly, he pulled himself out of bed and approached the man, ignoring any reaction the man might have had; if the man shot at him, it would have had no effect and he would have ignored the bullets. Loki stopped within arm's reach of him and wrapped his hand around the man's neck, easily reducing the flow of air in the man's throat, not enough to kill him yet, but enough to impress the idea that he very well could kill the man with just a touch more effort.
"Shall I dispose of him, my love?" he asked Sigyn, a dark smile on his lips as he picked the man up off his feet as easily as though he were lifting a doll.
