Appearance:
Rogue stands at about 5’7. She has naturally wavy, dark brown hair and somewhat large, rounded, light green eyes that work well with her natural fawn complexion. She has chiselled features, an almost rounded face, with high cheek bones and a strong defined jawline. Rogues lips are luscious and full, the upper lip curving into a heart shape and the lower being generously fuller then the upper.
Her most prominent feature, aside from her eyes is the single strip of white in her hair. Rogue, at one point opted to rid the strip but after much deliberation decided to keep it and its uniqueness.
Though she is fairly petite in frame, her physique is relatively athletic. Of course, this is strictly down to the mass of training the brunette partakes to keep in shape.
Personality:
Rogue puts on a strong and offensive front, despite being quite friendly and easy-going toward her peers. She is a no nonsense type of girl, which she prefers to be. Rogue doesn't warm to people easily and avoids as much contact with others as she can - given the nature of her gift and how intrusive it can be.
Although she is obviously distant from most, she is surprisingly flirtatious and fiesty in nature. Rogue has a very strong sense of character. She is very head strong, confident and stubborn in her ways. She isn't easy to back down, often striving to have the last word in many cases. The word 'no' an answer often does not register with Rogue, as she believes such a word does not exist. Rogue knows what she wants and refuses to hold back in obtaining whatever that may be - this applies to everything and anything in Rogue's world.
Regardless of trying to avoid getting close to others, their are the small few whom she holds dear to her. Rogue is fiercely loyal to those close to her, she is extremely passionate and protective of those she cares about. Rogue is quick to fight in order to protect those she loves or those whom cannot protect themselves.
If you're her friend then you might as well think of her as family. If you are her enemy then consider her lethal, given the nature of her capabilities she knows that she can use other people's emotiions/ powers against them and is not afraid to do it.

Skills and Abilities:
Power Absorption
Rogue can absorb the powers, energies, memories, knowledge, talents, personality and physical abilities (whether superhuman or not) of another human being through physical contact.
In absorbing another persons memories, Rogue also gains the emotional responses connected to them. For the transfer of abilities to be accomplished, Rogue’s skin must contact the skin of her victim. Rogue can only absorb abilities and memories from living organic beings.
Those touched are rendered unconscious by contact with her, though some beings, including Juggernaut and Mojo have resisted this effect. While for most of her life, her use of this power was involuntary, Rogue has recently gained full control over it.
This transfer is usually temporary, lasting for a period of time relative to how long contact is maintained, but the transfer may become permanent in certain cases. Most often the process happens instantly when Rogue touches someone, but in certain instances where a being has possessed an extraordinary level of power they are able to resist her, and she may only share part of their memories and power.
Her power is proved to be lethal. Mutants are proved to be stronger than humans because mutants have mutated genetics, which means that her power does less lethal effects for most mutants than humans. Her flirt, Cody Robbins, was in coma state for 3 weeks with just a brief touch. If she had touched Cody a bit longer, he had been already dead. It proves that if she touches her victim too long, she may kill her victim because of too much loss of energies due to the absorption, except if she voluntarily kills her victim with her deadly touch.
Although mutants are stronger than humans, she can still voluntarily kill mutants with her deadly touch as she wishes.
As Rogue is absorbing the total psyche of a person, there is a risk of a dominant personality overwhelming her and taking control of her body. Even though Rogue forgets the memories she has absorbed when a psyche returns to its body, 'echoes' of their personalities remain buried in her mind.
Rogue is able to absorb psyches and abilities of several beings at once, though the experience can be confusing and disorienting for her.
History:
Rogue's parents, Owen and Priscilla, married early in their relationship and lived in a back-to-nature hippie commune in Caldecott County, Mississippi.
Born as Anna Marie, she also enjoyed the attentions of her Aunt Carrie on her mother's side. The commune's failed attempt to use Native American mysticism to reach the Far Banks resulted in the family having to relocate. The move changed their lives drastically, and not for the better. Her parents became two different people. Priscilla became extremely closed off, and Owen, a drunk.
From a young age, Rogue rarely witnessed love in her parents relationship. Not a day went by where the two of them did anything but scream abuse at one another. Soon, things got physical and out of hand. Owen would constantly take his frustrations out on Priscilla, using his fists. Of course, she was never one to hit back which prompted Owen to continue the role of the abusive, alcoholic father.
Rogue recalled one night in particular, where the fighting become so bad that she was unable to ignore it. However, upon emerging from her hiding spot...she found her mother, Priscilla, was nowhere to be found. She was convinced that her mother had left her, no longer being able to put up with Owen's abusive nature. Rogue couldn't blame her, though it would have been nice to have been asked to go with her.
In Priscilla's disappearance. Carrie took over Anna's care and, in her grief at the loss of her sister, was a strict and authoritarian guardian. Anna Marie was a rebellious child and her equally poor relationship with her father prompted her to run away from home as a young teenager. This also prompted the nickname "Rogue".
At some point, Rogue grew close to a boy named Cody Robbins. During their flirtation, Rogue impulsively kissed Cody, at which point her latent mutant power to absorb the life energy and psyche of others with skin-to-skin contact emerged. Cody was left in a coma from which he would not awaken. Rogue was so traumatized by the experience that she soon after began to wear body-concealing clothing that eliminated the possibility of accidental skin contact.
Rogue was not able to control her absorption power at first; any skin-to-skin contact activated it, and she sometimes retained residual memories of the people she touched. Rogue wished she did not have to cover up so much around folks, to protect them from her, but couldn't risk using her power on more people.
Desperate for help, Rogue turned to Professor Charles Xavier and the X-Men. Prof. Xavier's charity towards all mutants led him to welcome her into his School for Gifted Youngsters.
Sample RP:
With a slight roll of the eyes, the young woman mused "Gotta say guy, I really ain't feelin' this ingenious plan a'yours." Rogue said aloud, green eyes piercing the male counterpart stood in front of her. She was young, and up to no good but still sticking to her boundaries. She wasn't like a normal young woman, for one thing the fact she couldn't touch another person without serious implications was one thing but the fact she couldn't trust anyone else, well, that just made life for a young woman seriously effed up.
What she'd give to be normal. Then again, she kinda liked being abnormal.
Despite not being able to have a normal, quiet life, she did do her best to enjoy herself. Their was lots of fun to be had that didn't involve skin to skin contact with other beings. For now, she appeared to be stood outside the back of a local bar that had shut for the evening but the male she'd met inside about an hour before closing still had a thirst for something poisonous.
Rogue stood, hands on her hips, eyes moving from left to right as she kept a look out. No doubt the guy who was apparently named Derrick, was pretty wasted at the time..hence why it was taking him so long to get back inside. He'd judged the size of the rear window wrong and was about 30 seconds away from getting his ass stuck. She could see it, the whole freaking world could see it but Derrick. The young woman couldn't help but chuckle some.
With a small sigh, she stepped forward. Gloved hands tugged at his trouser leg as his upper body was hidden inside the window, his legs dangling slightly "Alright, why don't we just call it quits, yeah? cause no matter how hard ya tryin, I don't think your gonna be gettin back inside their any time soon. I'm sure they're plenty of other bars still open that we can go to. Ya'll don't have to get your ass thrown into jail just to impress a girl." She urged with a small grin. Men, they were kinda stupid when it came to the opposite sex and Derrick was sure no exception.
