Though Sigyn admitted she did not know, Loki was certain of how the people would react to the revelation of his background. He was sure Thor and Odin knew it too, which was probably why neither of them had made any sort of announcement. There would be widespread fear, hate, and mockery. Had Thor been in this position, the people would have been more understanding, would have shown concern for their beloved warrior. But Loki was not Thor. He was not loved so well by the people that they would care about his feelings. Or at least, so he thought.
He watched her lick her finger, a smile creeping onto his face for a moment. She could be so sensual at times, without realizing it, it seemed. Yet her words did not set him at ease. Of course he would be himself. No sentiment could defeat him so easily. However, he knew she was right, He had not been himself for some time. He could blame it on anything he wanted, on Freia's curse, on his punishment, on the weather, but that did not change the fact that something was affecting him deeply.
But when she mentioned Laufey, he paused, looked at her carefully. Why would the death of a creature he had barely known bother him? Laufey had been naught but a foe to him, an one-time ally whom he had used and discarded. The fact that his bloodline stemmed from Laufey meant nothing. The giant had never been a father to him, so why should he treat him as such?
At least, that was how he felt on the surface. And his mind would not allow him to explore the matter any further.
"Laufey's death was purely strategic," he explained, his expression plain, giving nothing away. "It had to be done for our plan to work. Of course, I did not count on that plan being foiled. Still, his death meant as much to me as the death of any other Frost Giant. Should it have meant more to me than that? Perhaps, but it does not."
He reached for a roll and split it in half, offering a part to her. "Will it reassure you if I take something to eat? I do not wish to cause you any undue worry." He tried to smile, but faltered a little. Poor Sigyn; when she married him, had she imagined that she would have to play the therapist as well as the wife?

Had Laufey's death been purely strategic? Did Loki car as little as he was giving himself credit for? Sigyn honestly did not know. She just looked at him and saw a weary, lean man. She had a weird feeling, yet she could not quite put her finger on it. But even though her and Loki had become one during their marriage, even though he talked to her more than to anyone else, she could not push him into talking about things he wished not to speak of. What if he did not even know what was going on with him, himself? She would have to be careful and observe.
That piece of bread did not soothe her. Loki eating merely to make her stop worrying was not in the slightest what Sigyn wanted. She wanted him to want to eat and feel good. However, both of them could only take so much depressed moods and low times. And they had gone through a lot of that lately. Sigyn smiled, dropped her head and took the piece of bread. She arranged her position, until she sat upon him, straddling him. "It might," she said with a tiny smile. Now it was Sigyn taking only one bite. Maybe, Loki could use some distraction. Time healed a lot of wounds and made you feel better. Time, and her. She put the bread back onto the plate and her hands on his stomach, gently shoving them underneath his tunic. "I need you to be well and healthy, my love. For in some time, when the boys are older, I will take that spell off and ask you to make love to me for as long as it takes until I carry your child," she said, lowering her voice to a sweet, honest tone. Loki had always wanted more children, to try again. Now, knowing that it had been a curse killing her children and not a natural constitution, Sigyn had had a change of heart about this. She had wanted to tell him sooner, but between moving and enjoying her boys, little had found its place. Perhaps, now was the right time.

All Loki cared to do in this moment was to make Sigyn content. He thought eating something would set her a little at ease, but even as he took a few bites of the bread, he was unsure whether it had the effect he was looking for. But she gave him a little smile, so perhaps he was simply being more picky than he should be.
He was glad when she changed the subject. Talking about Laufey made him feel unsettled. He believed every word he had said, of course. He had done only what had been needed at the time. If he had felt anything more about it, unfortunately, he had repressed it, pushed the feeling down until he felt it no longer. Such was it with him and his feelings.
Still, Laufey had been nothing to him. Even after finding out that the creature had been his father… Loki had had no desire to get to know him, to build a relationship with him. And why should he? He had been abandoned, left to die. That much meant Laufey rivaled Odin in terms of failed parenting. There was no reason to feel grief or sympathy at Laufey's loss. None at all, he convinced himself.
He still was not sure why he felt satisfaction at the thought of what he had done, but the feeling was not a negative one.
But Sigyn had changed the subject of their conversation, and Loki was eager to do the same with his thoughts. He could not keep a smile from forming on his lips as she told him about her plans. Another child - or, even, more than one - would be wonderful. Perhaps girls this time. For him, for he who had previously feared himself to be a terrible father, it was quite a change of heart.
"Yes," he said softly, the smile still growing. There was no longer any reason to fear the early deaths of their children, now that they knew what the cause had been and had remedied it. He had waited so long to hear her say those words…. He knew and understood why she had not wanted more children before, but he had not agreed with her. Now that the boys were back, it seemed, they were in accord.
He laid one hand on hers, which were pressed against his chest. "Nothing would make me happier," he told her, stroking the back of her hands. His smile turning playful, he removed his hand to touch her face and nudge her close enough to kiss. "Until then, we should get in as much practice as we can," he teased against her lips.

After all this time she had spent with him, she would not agree that ignoring and pushing away his feelings worked well for Loki, quite on the contrary. His feelings sooner or later always got the better of him, Loki just didn't realize it. Whether it resulted in another wicked - and sometimes pointless - scheme or anger, that he had to get rid of then, the lack of properly dealing with his burdens showed. Maybe, not to the whole of Asgard, maybe not to his parents even. But Sigyn knew. Sigyn knew something was up when he locked himself up in their little room, which served to practice and develop their sorcery and magic. She knew that a Loki that did not speak much was trying to figure something out or rather, trying to not-figure something out. Occasionally, he was even very eager to take her to the lake and spar. Those were moments that alerted her.
Sigyn never let go entirely, she just worked her way around him. Right now, she'd give him time. Now that he knew Sigyn had caught his tune, he might realize what was going on himself. If something was going on at all. If he came around, he'd come around towards her, so much was for sure. Loki was a complicated man. But Sigyn was a smart woman. And she knew him very well. For now, he might just need the distraction he was starting to serve himself. A content, happy smile lighted Sigyn's face up, a second before they finally kissed. Rocking her pelvis a little, she teased him, but for now, nothing seemed too urgent, too passionate. "I agree," she whispered against his lips. "Maybe this time," she continued, putting tender kisses on his face, "We'll have a girl. I'd like that. I need some female support in this utterly male household." Imagining Loki holding a girl, playing with her, was the most beautiful image. That poor girl would have two brothers and a father who'd be utterly protective. But if she turned out anything like Sigyn, she'd give them hell in the best possible way. Stroking his hair out of his face, she freed more skin to kiss. "What about going on holiday? In time, in a couple of weeks, maybe? Just us and the boys, no staff. I'd love for you to abandon all worries for a couple of days. You could go fishing with the boys and I could just lie around all day, being lazy." Right. Like Sigyn could actually do that, doing nothing for more than a couple of hours. Still, going deep into the woods, maybe to the cabin, having no contact whatsoever with court and anyone sounded heavenly.

If anyone could get Loki to confront his demons, it was Sigyn. Still, it took his wanting to confront them, wanting to open up. So far, he had no reason to want that. His possible denial of his true feelings was not hurting anyone, as far as he could tell.
She rocked her hips, a move that had a certain significance since she happened to be straddling him. "Don't tease," he said, though the tone he uttered the words in gave away that he rather liked her form of teasing.
He was glad she had the same thought, of having a girl. He could picture Sigyn teaching their daughter the usual things, sharing all the knowledge that befit a lady, but also allowing her to be herself, and learn to fight and climb trees and chase her brothers around.
"Perhaps," he said, enjoying her kisses, "but if she looks anything like you, I will train her brothers to swordfight every man that comes within two arms' lengths of her." He was kidding, of course. Mostly. He already knew he would be protective of a daughter, even more so than with his sons. He was sure it would be no surprise to Sigyn either.
She suggested a vacation, and he nodded. He would have to be on his best behavior so that his sentence could be lifted, but that would be no trouble. The fact that he had been allowed to move out of the palace showed that he was already on the way to earning his family's trust again.
A trust he would betray again, as he always did.
"You? Be lazy?" His hand started at her cheek, then traveled along her neck. "If I left you to it, you would practice or clean or do some other unnecessary thing, just to have something to do." He gave her a smile, to indicate that he was partly joking again. "But never fear. I always have something you can do."
He kissed her again, lingering on her bottom lip. "Where should we go?" he asked with the tone that meant he was listening, but his thoughts were elsewhere. Specifically, they had skipped to the very near future, contemplating the sort of night he and Sigyn could have if he had his way.

Upon being called out on her teasing, Sigyn rocked her hips again. He would have to do better than tell her off to get what he wanted. But it was not even what he wanted, Sigyn knew that well. She moved her hands up and down his front, shoving his tunic out of the way. It was way too hot for clothes anyway and maybe, it was even a faint bit too hot for skin-on-skin. Yet, Sigyn could not possibly keep her hands off him. He was too delicate. She smiled as she received his compliment. Even after all those years, she would never get tired of being told that he thought her beautiful. "If she is anything like me, she will give you the hardest of times for it," Sigyn mentioned. She was already too wrapped up in the idea of having a daughter. They might as well have another boy, who knew? Or...nothing would happen and she would not even get pregnant again. No. No, she would.
Sigyn sat up, watched his eyes as he moved his hand along her body. She leaned down soon after, picking another kiss from his lips. "Oh you," she said, "I am perfectly able to relax if I want to." Re-arranging their magic chamber, filling herbs and other ingredients into neat jars was relaxing, was it not? Amazing, how sloppy Sigyn had been when they had gotten married and how neat she was these days. Putting her elbows left and right of his head, Sigyn bit his upper lip as his mouth lingered on her lower one. "Somewhere secluded. Somewhere quiet. No people. Only the occasional deer. I will talk to Thor. I'll wrap him around my little finger." There was still Loki's punishment, but there was also Sigyn. Of course, the God of Thunder knew that her loyalty lay with Loki. But he also knew that when push came to shove, she'd be the only voice Loki was willing to hear. She'd get his way. "Or would you prefer the buzz and noise of a big Midgardian city?", she asked. Narvi and Vali had yet to be acquainted with Midgard. Maybe, it was a bit early for that. Sigyn got a hold of his skull in order to turn his head a little. This way, she could perfectly attach her lips to his lobe. "Do you ever wish to be just no one? No royal, not burdened with purpose and a name?", Sigyn asked between gentle kisses.

It was true - if their daughter did turn out like her mother, she would not stand for any overprotectiveness from her family. Yet Loki grinned. "That will not stop me," he warned, though he smiled. He had not even considered the possibility that pregnancy was a tricky, fickle thing, and that it may not occur again. His mind refused to allow that fact into existence. They would have all the children they wanted, whenever they cared to.
"It seems you and I have different ideas of relaxing," he further teased, letting her push up his tunic as far as she wanted, even leaning up momentarily to completely remove it. There was a step in the right direction. The effects of her rocking would not be missed by her, since she happened to be sitting on the part of his body most affected by it.
He made a small murmur as she bit his lip. This woman had a power over him that he might have envied if he did not enjoy it so much. He was certain she would be able to convince Thor of this holiday being a good idea. Of course, she would have to use more mundane means than those she used to convince Loki of things. Else Loki and Thor would have a problem.
"I would prefer you. Only you, and our sons." Whether they were on Midgard, Asgard, or some other realm mattered little to him. He preferred Asgard, of course; his disdain for Midgard was well known. But he did travel there on occasion, and could put up with its citizens for some time. He actually had a very, very, very tiny bit of respect for them now that he knew some of them had further abilities than he had imagined. He would never admit to having that respect, though.
"I wish…." He could lie and agree with her, or he could simply be an arse and tell the truth. He had promised never to lie to her; that had not kept him from telling the occasional white lie, but she could always see through them, it seemed. "I have never wished to be no one, but perhaps that is because I have always been a royal. It is impossible for me to imagine." It was not entirely impossible, but the thought of being a nobody, of blending in, just did not appeal to him. Now, especially, he would much rather be a ruler. Someone of importance, of power.
"But I do know what it is like to want to be left alone, if that is what you mean. I felt it often, before you." That much he remembered. Most of the time he had spent before meeting Sigyn, so long ago, had begun to blur all into one block of irrelevant time. His life was composed of a vague childhood, a pre-Sigyn period, their marriage, and the present. Only the present mattered to him, on the surface. Yet the past, even the early marriage days, continued to haunt him in ways he only perceived as inexplicable mood swings and bouts of anger.
One hand drifted down to her chest, and another wrapped around her waist. If she backed away from him due to what he had just said, he would curse himself for having chosen not to lie. Her nearness always gave him a comforting feeling of completion, even if it was only a fairly innocent embrace. That was one feeling he could appreciate.

Of course, she removed his tunic entirely. She would not let that opportunity slip. It revealed his perfect, fair chest and abdomen. Sigyn brushed her fingertips over the well-defined area, not as bulky and outrageous as Thor's physique, but delicate and beautiful in its very own way. Sigyn draw little patterns on it as she listened to his words. She would not back away. Even when he had choked her, hit her, said horrible things to her, she had not backed away. Aeons had passed since then and their love had only grown stronger. Who would she be if she backed away, just because their opinions differed?
"It is that even when I am left alone, I feel watched sometimes. It is a false kind of solitude, of tranquility, because it feels as though everybody's secretly pondering about my reasons for wanting privacy. If I were nobody, no one would even notice.", she explained. Sigyn's hand came to rest on his stomach then, as she mused. "I remember visiting my grandparents in Vanaheim. Of course, they joked about the 'Asgardians' honoring them by paying a visit, but after an hour, it was gone and we were just.....well, just some people visiting family. Freia obviously never liked to blend in like that, she preferred the envious looks she imagined to get while roaming Asgard's streets as a lady. But I....I liked just being Sigyn...." How odd was this? She had not been 'only' Sigyn for most parts of her life. In fact, she had been a princess for the majority of her life. Maybe it were the latest occurences that made her feel that way. If she had been but a peasant, if they had been, they might not even have had to make up excuses and explanations for their sons' return. But then again, peasants might not have managed to bring them back in the first place. "Nonsense," Sigyn shook her head, bending down to kiss his forehead. "I love being your princess, my lord," she said in a much lower voice now, "But I'd be a peasant if I had to to be with you. Anything or anyone, for that matter." She knew that she was not the most 'famous' part of the Asgardian Royal Family. She had even heard that people thought her too 'loyal' towards Loki. On the other hand, roughly a millenium ago, a little girl had carefully approached her at a public event and told her that she wanted to be like her once she was grown up. Maybe, if you had a name, you'd have as many haters as fans. "But maybe that is one of the reasons why I like Midgard more than you," Sigyn said, kissing his jawline, down towards his chin, "I blend in. No one cares for a couple of hours. Those mortals just mind their own businesses and leave me be."

When Sigyn explained how she felt about being watched and studied, Loki understood what she meant, better than he had before. He still did not fully agree; though he did think it would be nice to not be watched so closely, to not be a sort of celebrity among the Asgardians, but he also did not like the idea of fading into the masses. He was special, and so was she. If that meant others would look up to them because of that, then that was a cost he was willing to pay.
He hoped he would never have to choose between her and his status as a royal. Of course, he would choose her, but… the lifestyle was simply not one he could cast aside so easily. It suited him too well. And he suited the lifestyle. He had been born to rule. Now, of course, rulership was all but a cruel joke, unless he claimed what was his. And he would, in time.
For now, though, it might be best to let Sigyn enjoy her privacy while she could, before he made her a queen again.
He listened to her musings, and placed a hand on hers again, in an effort to be comforting, if she needed it. "You should not blend in among the Midgardians," he chided, though not seriously. "Or the mortals are blind. You are more beautiful than any of them could aspire to be." He thought of the mortals as being lesser creatures, with dulled senses and duller brains, in general. He'd met a few that had impressed him. But overall, he did hold them in a more negative light than Sigyn did, perhaps again because of his royal upbringing.
"But I know you enjoy walking among them. I would never rob you of that. If Midgard would give you the peace and solitude you seek, then I am all for it." He managed to place a kiss on her nose. Perhaps it was not a bad idea. They had just saved Midgard, after all. Granted, Loki had also been the one to endanger Midgard in the first place, but why split hairs?
He gave her a soft smile. "You know you need only say the word, and all you wish is yours," he told her, as though reminding her. There was little he could not be convinced to do for her.

Sigyn did think that the Asgardians - well, and Vanir, for that matter - were superior to the mortals. Yes, she thought herself above them, but not necessarily in the same way as Loki did. It was not a matter of worth, but mere..biology. She'd live for thousands of years, mortals did not. She was stronger, capable of magic, healed faster.....sure, there were obviously some of them that shared equal traits, but those were exceptions. Asgard was her home and Sigyn would not want to trade it for anything in the world. Every now and then, she felt like going to Midgard, dwell among the natives, wear their clothes and server herself a ton of skittles. Possibly, it would lose its appeal if she knew she could not go back to Asgard. But she could. It was all good.
Stroking his face, she watched him speak. "I know you would not," Sigyn softly said. Back in the days, she had almost been intimidated by knowing how much power he had over her. By now she knew that it was a mutual wonder. Loki'd do anything for her and their sons. Sigyn honored that by not taking advantage of it. Most of the times. She had been quite determined when it came to furnishing and decorating their new home, but that was taking advantage in the most classical husband and wife way, was it not?
Chuckling, she bent down and kissed his lips slowly. "What about a unicorn?", Sigyn said in the most innocent voice, moving one hand into his hair. "If you truly love me, you'll get me a unicorn." A grin spread across her lips. Now, she was clearly teasing.

There was very little Loki found interesting about the Midgardians. Their realm was one of the most varied, and could hold his interest for a long time, but the mortals themselves were quite bland. They lived short, largely uneventful lives, and then died. Bringing a brief battle to them had been doing them a service. It was probably the most excitement the realm had seen in generations.
Sigyn did not share his point of view, but they certainly understood each other. He would not have considered himself taken advantage of, in terms of how she had taken over the furnishing of their castle. She had been eager to take the matter into her own hands. He had largely been able to simply give a suggestion here and there, but otherwise not worry too much about it. It had been a good arrangement.
Being silly, Sigyn asked him for a unicorn. "Be careful what you wish for, my lady," he teased, also grinning. Nothing seemed beyond his powers, and Loki enjoyed a good challenge. Obtaining a creature thought to be entirely mythical? Impossible to most, entertaining to Loki.
With little effort, he flipped them both over on the bed so that now Sigyn was underneath. "My turn," he told her with a devilish smirk, before lowering his head to kiss her lips tenderly. His hands roamed her body expertly; he knew every curve, knew where to touch her to get the results he wanted. At the moment, he was thinking he wanted to get that dress of hers off.
"You are well dressed for such heat," he murmured, his fingers tracing its neckline. He was still emanating a little chill to keep them cool, but that did not mean he would not be trying to get her out of those clothes.

"Oh, I am very careful," Sigyn reassured him. This might be a taste of what it'd be like to have a daughter. A sneaky, manipulative one at that, of course. The girl would have her father wrapped around her little finger the day she'd be born. Her father and most likely, her brothers alike. All these thoughts about a little girl almost made Sigyn want to take that spell off her uterus right now, commence the practicing, aspiring to get fast results. A year from now on, there could be five members to the Laufeyson/Lokison-family. Alas, no, this was not the right time. Just having moved im, just having gotten the boys back, Loki still being under his punishment.....they should get familiar with the situation first. And maybe, just perhaps, the peace and quiet of a few days out on holiday would turn out to be a perfect setting to re-consider her birth-control spell. Once the boys were in bed, of course.
Just as Sigyn was about to bent down in order to bite her way along that delicate collarbone of his, Loki flipped them around. Sigyn let out a surprised gasp as the air was pushed out of her body due to the impact. It was not too bad, this way, she could feel his delightful weight holding her in place, the results of her previous rocking tangible even through layers of fabric. Slowly, Sigyn wrapped her legs around his waist, holding him in place by pushing her ankles into his upper legs. She was utterly exhausted, weary even, but there'd be always time to be close to her husband, no matter whether it'd lead to more exhausting activities or just snuggling, until they'd fall asleep. Given the way Loki's hands roamed over her body, how they applied gentle pressure now and then, how he almost greedily stared at her dress' neckline....Sigyn had a feeling he would not make do with cuddling tonight. Her dress was thinner than paper, most likely not to be worn without an underdress if you did not want to raise the wrong kind of attention in public. It had been perfect for a hot day like this at home. Sigyn smiled up at him, thick black lashes framing her blue eyes, that were on his. "Would you rather I'd spend my day absolutely naked...for everyone to behold?", Sigyn asked provocatively. At the exact moment, she shoved her hand between their bodies. Stopping at where their hips met, Sigyn started to collect her dress, slowly, pulling it up. He could clearly feel the movement of her hand against his front. She took her time. arching her back towards him. "You know, when you cool me down like this, I feel all kinds of,-" Sigyn started to purr, when a soft click interrupted her. The door opened slowly and finally, a small, raven-haired figure was standing in the room. Narvi.
Sigyn let got of her dress immediately, detangled her legs from around Loki's hips and slid up in bed, until she was leaning against the backrest. "Narvi!", she exclaimed, suddenly panting. Narvi - rubbing his eyes - walked towards the bed with a pout on his face. Sigyn helped him up, cradling him. "What is it, sweetheart?", she asked. A nightmare, possibly? "I cannot sleep," the little boy said, "but I am so tired. It is too warm in my room and there's a monster in my closet that is spitting invisible fire into the room so it won't cool down." Sigyn gently rocked him. "There is no monster, Narvi, who told you that?" "Vali did, mother.", he explained. Sigyn's eyes widened in surprise as she searched for Loki's gaze. They'd have to have a talk with Vali. For now, it was about getting a grumpy six year old back to sleep...preferably into his own bed as Sigyn had planned on using this one in a quite indelicate way.

If Sigyn truly wanted only to snuggle this night, then Loki would be content with that, but, being who he was, he was certainly not going to et the chance to try pass unacknowledged. He caressed her with practiced proficiency, his hands pressing through her clothes almost as though they weren't there. A smile curled his lips as he answered her question. "I would rather you spent your nights absolutely naked, for only me to behold…." His words became a growl of satisfaction as she lifted her dress.
Loki had never wanted to lock their bedroom door, or discourage their children from entering anytime, but visits like this one did become slightly problematic every now and then. He sat up as Sigyn detached herself. Most likely, Narvi had no idea what he had been looking at, but all the same, Loki figured this had been a close call.
"Let's search for this monster," Loki said, pulling himself out of bed to walk over to Narvi. They would most certainly have to have a chat with Vali later. Loki reached for Narvi and picked him up, carrying him as they passed through the hall the short distance to the boys' rooms. They both liked having the boys nearby. Someday, Vali and Narvi would likely grow out of those rooms, but for now, why not enjoy their youth?
"Hmm," Loki said as they reached the room. "It is hot, but I don't see any monsters. I don't even hear or smell one." He placed Narvi on the bed and proceeded to check the closets, the drawers, and even under the bed. Perhaps if he and Sigyn made sure the room was "safe," Narvi would feel comfortable sleeping in his own bed.
"No monsters here," he announced after a while, sitting down next to Narvi on the bed, preparing to tuck him in. "It probably ran away once it saw how brave you are." He ruffled his son's hair a bit. "Think of cold things, and the heat will go away as well."
Discreetly, he touched the bedsheets and cooled them a bit, enough to at least get Narvi to sleep, and maybe until a cool breeze might develop as the night progressed.

Sigyn and Loki were quite on the same page. She would not want to lock their bedroom door, either. The boys were still young. Vali was more of a fighter, more like his father, trying to fight his battles on his own, whether it was a nightmare or supposedly, a monster hiding in his closet. Narvi was more likely to come to find his parents at night, but even that did not happen every night. Still, sometimes it felt like gambling. Tonight, they had almost lost the game. Almost. Had Narvi decided to enter only fifteen minutes later, he would have witnessed something else entirely. Granted, the little boy possibly didn't even know what he had just walked in on, but maybe, in a couple of years from now, random memories would make him have an epiphany. A rather uncomfortable one. However, Loki and Sigyn would most likely laugh about it. Time would tell. As far as Sigyn was concerned, the growing up of her boys could be postponed for yet a little while longer.
As he usually did, Loki took great care of his son. Sigyn made a mental note to remind him of his qualities as a father, because he had been so very insecure about it. Narvi clung to him instantly, holding on to his father for dear life. For sure, Loki would fix whatever mess a supposed monster or his brother had created. Sigyn joined them, but left Loki and Narvi to the boy's room, while she went to check on Vali. Her oldest was lying in his bed, stripped of his sheets, but sleeping soundly. Sigyn tucked him in, brushed her hand over his cheek and left the room soundlessly, just as Loki was leaving Narvi's room. "Is he alright?", she asked, having no doubt that Loki had managed to calm him down. Of course, they'd talk to Vali in the morning, but Sigyn was not going to make a judgement before she had talked to her son. She would not be surprised if Narvi had entirely misunderstood something Vali had said. Either way, both boys were in their beds, Sigyn was still in her thin dress, Loki was actually half naked and it was still hot. Way to go. She smiled, putting her hands on his chest, slightly pushing him backwards. "Now, where were we before the firemonster interrupted us?", Sigyn wondered, tilting her head.
The cold stone walls of the castle actually radiated a comfortable kind of coolness. However, they could not possibly remain here in the hallway, right in front of their children's rooms. This place would only let her tease him, but that was just fine for now.

As Narvi calmed down, Loki stayed by his side, waiting to be sure the boy would fall asleep soundly. Finally, as he was reassured that everything was safe, Narvi snuggled into bed and drifted off. Loki watched him for a moment before tucking him in and slipping out into the hallway.
He found Sigyn coming out of Vali's room, and immediately went over to her. "He's fine," Loki told her, with a slight smile, partially twisted with concern. It would not do for Narvi's first night in their new home to go poorly. It would set a tone for other nights to come. But with any luck, he had successfully convinced the boy that there was no monster, and no one would interfere with that success.
Fortunately for Loki, Sigyn seemed to be feeling just as playful and sensual as she had been before their unexpected visitor's arrival, and he quite readily joined in as she leaned into him. There was not a far distance between them and their own room, between which they could take their time getting there. This could be interesting.
With his back to the wall, Loki wrapped his arms around Sigyn's waist, and grinned slyly before moving those hands up along her torso. "I believe we were just about here…" he teased, his fingers applying a gentle pressure as they reached the small of her back. He claimed her lips in a kiss that started out light, but grew more hungry with each passing moment.
