Sigyn leaned against Loki, bent forward in order to put a kiss on his bare neck. She nuzzled her face against his skin, putting another dozen of kisses on his neck. Then, he kissed her in a fashion that would send a shiver of anticipation through her body, a shiver centering right between her thighs. Yet, Sigyn did not pursue this hunger for now. She was moving her hands over his chest, now and then letting her fingernails trace his skin. But still, she seemed to be stalling.
Eventually, the princess bent her head back in order to properly look at her husband, whose eyes shone with fiery desire. Well, too bad, she was going to keep him waiting a little while longer. "My love," Sigyn said with a smile on her face, "I have been quite negligent lately, for I have forgotten to remind you how great a father you are." Sigyn kissed his lips gently, but she was not done yet. "I remember how you admitted to having felt quite the opposite. But now we were given the chance to make up for past mistakes and continute our lives as parents. I want you to remember to try and take a look at yourself every now and then. Be attentive and watch your children's eyes as they look at you with wonder and love. A bad father would not have checked an entire room for possible monsters, especially if he had just been about to bed his wife.", Sigyn explained, tilting her head.
Back then, on the anniversary of Narvi's death, when she had told him how great a father he had truly been, neither Sigyn nor Loki had expected to be with Narvi and Vali ever again. Things were different now, but she also knew her husband. Sometimes, Loki had just painted his picture already and was reluctant - or ignorant - to see how things really were. Like his fatherhood. It was Sigyn's job to remind him to do a reality check every now and then.
Moving her hands down his front, to his hips, she kept on tracing the fine lines of his muscles with her thumbs. "Now, would you rather argue with me or do something.....else." Sometimes, arguing lead to nothing, so he'd just have to accept what she had put down.

It was fairly obvious that Loki was ready to take this back to their bedroom and finish what they had started. But when Sigyn stopped and looked at him with that thoughtful expression on her face, he instantly knew she had something to say. With any luck, whatever it was would not take away from their moment, but he would listen to her regardless, of course.
She told him again that he was a good father. She had known for a long time that he was insecure about that, almost afraid of becoming as horrible a father as his own father had been. Somehow it was difficult for him to accept that he was doing well, for there were no noticeable signs, no landmarks that said the boys were developing well with any thanks to him. But as Sigyn told him, he nodded slowly, taking it all in.
"I will not argue with you," he said quietly. Perhaps he was even beginning to agree with her. He was wary of giving himself too much credit. Sigyn was a wonderful mother as well, that much was obvious to him in the same way that his own parenting was obvious to her.
He kissed her forehead, then her nose, then grinned. "I would much rather do something else," he told her, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Starting with... reappropriating this dress of yours." It was so thin he could probably tear it off her with ease, but he doubted she would appreciate him destroying a piece of her wardrobe so needlessly. Though he could always buy her three more of them.

"Good boy," she smiled, patting his cheek playfully. Being told that he was good at what he did was one thing, feeling it something else entirely. She had just wanted to nudge him into the right direction. Maybe, now that he was more sensitive to the topic and her opinion in particular, he'd realize it. Small moments, smiles, his boys turning to him. The secret lay in the little things. And Loki would unravel it all.
"Would you now?", Sigyn smiled, keeping her face away from him ever so slightly, so he'd have to move a bit in order to touch her. "And what in the Nine Realms, doth my lord consider appropriate?", Sigyn wondered. Well, admittedly, she had some kind of idea. Stepping back, she got a hold of her dress on knee-level, slowly pulling it up. First, her ankle was revealed, then, her calf. She held his gaze all the while. There could be a maid passing by every moment, possibly. Or one of the boys waking up again. Sigyn had to admit, the danger of being witnessed was kind of a thrill - as she had previoiusly mentioned -, when it came to staff. Not so much when it came to her sons. "This, my lord?" she asked. Sigyn's eyes turned golden, her smile got wider. The hem of her dress reached her thighs. Slower and slower, more upwards, slower, more skin to be revealed. "Or rather,..." she chuckled. A second later, her dress would pass her hips. But suddenly....Sigyn vanished. Her laughter was heard throughout the vast hallway and then, the soft pit and patter of bare feet on the ground echoed along the hall. She'd make him work for it tonight, whatever had gotten into the goddess of fidelity, it lifted her spirits.

Perhaps all Loki needed was that push in the right direction. Changing one's thought processes, especially when one had been thinking the same negative way for lifetimes, was no simple task, and it would take time to change his ways. Still, as long as Loki was willing to put in the effort - and, consciously, he was - then he would reach that place in time, and likely be more comfortable with himself in the end.
At the moment, though, his mind was on other matters. He was watching her raise her skirts, slowly, tantalizingly. Had he less willpower, he might have taken it all into his own hands and relieved her of that dress. But if Sigyn wanted to tease him, then he would let her have her fun.
But then she disappeared. She just up and disappeared, just when things were getting most interesting. He heard her laughter and her running, but could not place exactly where she was. How uncouth. He smiled wickedly, taking his time as he walked along the hall.
"Oh dear, where has my princess vanished to?" he asked aloud, pretending to be worried, but actually coming off as quite confident, almost smug. "I could not bear to spend this night alone…." He opened the door to their room, intentionally leaving it wide open.
Inside the room, he waved his hand, and a few sweet-smelling candles lit up, adding a glow to the room as well as the scent of fresh flowers. He stood in the middle of the room. "Perhaps she will come to me," he mused, keeping a discreet eye on everything in the room, should she rustle the curtains or bedsheets or make any other sign of her presence.

Sigyn had indeed not walked away too far. She was close to him, but even held her breath so he wouldn't detect her location. In fact, Loki could use his magic and make her visible, at least to him, if he so pleased. Yet she counted on him playing a long.
And playing along he did. The wickedness in his voice was a huge turn-on to Sigyn, so she bit her invisible lip as he proceeded to move through the hallway. Of course, he was headed ot their bedroom, knowing well that she would follow. With a thud, the vast door closed. Yes, she was in the room with him, yet she remained motionless for now, watching him light the candles with his sorcery, watching him trying to find her without seeing her. She was quite careful though. She knew, she had one shot. Loki was a master at playing games, his natural instince was to win, even though he might be putting his best effort in letting her have the upper hand for now.
With swift movements, Sigyn ran to the bed. She knew this was causing enough noises to tell him about her location, but she was gaining momentum and using the element of surprise. Deftly, Sigyn knocked him off his feet by his shoulders, so he fell upon the bed. She climbed the bed instantly, climbed him. Straddling him, Sigyn got a hold of his wrists, pushed them into the mattress. "Have I not told you, I finally succeeded at performing this tricky spell of invisibility," an incorporeal voice chuckled. She had done it a couple of weeks ago, but she had wanted to suprise him with it. A lot of things had happened that had taken her focus. Now was the time, it seemed. "Have I made you proud, Master Loki?", Sigyn purred, bending forward so her hair would tickle his face.

It was a simple enough spell; Loki could have undone it if he had wished. But where was the fun in that? He wanted to see whether he could use his senses to locate her, whether by listening or watching or even using intuition to guess what she would do. They knew each other well, such that he could probably make a few guesses at what her plan was.
He did not expect to hear loud footfalls approaching him swiftly, and most definitely did not expect to be pushed back onto the bed, then pinned to it with an unexpected strength. The breath went out of him as he fell onto the mattress, but he grinned as he felt her straddle him and heard her voice above him. He brushed his face where her hair fell, an odd sensation when not accompanied by the actual hair.
"You have made me very proud… among other things." He gave her a knowing smirk and raised his head to kiss where her face probably was. His lips brushed her cheek. "Now, what will make me happier, is if you let me see that beautiful face and body of yours so I can make love to it. Or would you rather I fumble about like one in the dark?" he asked teasingly. His earlier tiredness had faded, and now he was just eager to get both of them undressed. Or they could keep at their game, see if they could make things that much more interesting.
