Marriage? Had she committed to him that much by kissing him on that yard? She hadn't thought about that, she had just wanted to kiss the lover that had been returned to her, against all odds. Sigyn didn't know that this gesture had sealed any kind of deal or proposal. Wouldn't Loki have to talk to his family about this? Even, to hers? And moreover, wouldn't he have to talk to her about marriage? She surely did not consider herself betrothed or engaged, even if she might want to be exactly that.
Sigyn put her forehead against his cheek, her eyes closed, her hair wet by now. The white fabric of her undergarments clung to her skin, wet and and sheer, yet she didn't realize this just yet. She didn't want to go out there. Sigyn was not too fond of being the centre of attention, if she could avoid it. Besides, she could imagine countless things that she'd rather like to do with him, other than attending a ball. Moreover, there were countless other things they'd have to figure out. This feast seemed so annoying, yet she knew he was probably right.
And for once, she let her reasonable guard down, nestled against him. "I don't want to go," Sigyn mumbled, sounding as stubborn as she was, "And I'm wet. I don't have a dress. I can't go." This would convince him, would it not? Despite the fact that she didn't want to attend the ball just yet, she was not capable of going there, with her garments wet and her dress not being proper for a celebration anyway. "I want to be alone with you, not on display for everyone to behold.", she added, pulling a face against him.

Getting around the clothing problem would have been simple. They could have found a dress for her somewhere, could even have bought her a new one. Their servants could have dried her off and done her hair. But the way she told him she did not want to attend simply served to confirm his own wishes. They would skip the festivities, then. It was what they both wanted, and would result in far less pressure for both of them.
The thought of marriage had crossed his mind long before, and he was thinking about it again now. He'd never thought he would be able to imagine himself with someone for the rest of his very long life. Yet now he could, with the incredible woman beside him.If she would have him, that is. He longed to know what her answer would be, if he asked her. But this was not the time for it. They still needed to talk, to sort out their next steps.
She would not have been there with him if she had not at least considered forgiveness, would she? Would not have referred to him as her love if she still intended for them to be apart? Perhaps he was jumping to conclusions, but otherwise, it did not make sense.
He nuzzled his face against her neck. "I want the realm to see how incredible you are," he murmured into her skin. "But not tonight."
Lifting her hair aside, he placed a gentle kiss just below her ear. "Tonight we will be alone, as we both wish." He would deal with his family later. Indeed, it was probably better this way. It gave them time to talk, and their relatives time to adjust to the idea. Especially Loki's, who had previously had no idea that he had been seeing anyone.
He shifted a little to reach for the soap, and began to scrub his skin clean. Being clean was something of a relief. his wound still stung, but it would be healed in a day or two, and the scar gone soon after.

Sigyn knew that if Loki felt well enough to attend the feast, they'd have to go. She was still too involved in the mindset of following basic rules to just shrug it off, yet the stubborn part of her mind had won. After all, he was the prince and if the prince made a decision, she'd have to obey. Even if Sigyn herself had been the one planting an idea into his mind. Would people even believe him when he said he still felt too weak to party, given that almost the whole realm had seen them kiss and leave together? Oh well....was that even her problem, to think about this? Sigyn surely didn't want him to get in trouble, because of her. However, the way he confirmed her own opinion on the topic convinced her to just let it go. Sigyn closed her eyes as he put that kiss on her neck, a strange sensation tickling her body the exact moment his skin made contact with hers. She was searching his gaze, but Loki got active then, starting to wash himself. Sigyn put her hand on his, took the soap. "Allow me," she whispered. From her position - and with a little adjustment - she was perfectly able to wash his back and hair. And she did exactly that, careful not to spill any water into his face. However, any part of him that was hiding underneath the water's surface was his job for now, wasn't it. "I have finished,", Sigyn whispered, put the soap back into his hands. His business, giving her time to ...well, what was she even going to do? First thing was getting out of the tub. Her clothes stuck to her skin, pulling down due to the weight of the water. A puddle formed around Sigyn's feet within only seconds. There were enough towels, that was for sure. She was about to ask him not to turn around and look, bu that would be kind of weird, wouldn't it? On the other hand, Loki looking at her undressing would feel awkward, too. So she hoped she'd have enough time to at least get out of those clothes and wrap herself into a towel, before he was finished taking his bath. Taking off those wet clothes was bothersome, but eventually, Sigyn was standing there, naked, clothes on the floor. She was reaching for a towel, just when someone was knocking on the door. She froze. "Loki? Is everything alright? It is me, your mother,", Frigga's voice called out to him, worry lying heavily in her voice. ooc: I don't really know how you want Frigga to behave, so feel free to take it from here

Falling silent, Loki let Sigyn take the soap and wash his hair and back. The intimacy of her touch was interrupted by the presence of the soap, but that was probably for the best. It still felt good to have her care for him, even if only in such small gestures. It made him a little more confident that everything would work out between them.
Once she had relinquished the soap, Loki started on the rest of his body, squeezing her hand as a sort of silent thanks before she left the tub. It did not occur to him that she was undressing until he heard the sound of damp cloth falling to the floor. He would have turned his head to look, instinctively, had the knock at the door not caught his attention then.
They were both naked, essentially, and his mother was knocking on the door. Absolutely nothing naughty had happened between them, but the strange situation made him feel as though it had. He could hear the worry in her voice, but still hesitated to reply.
"I'm fine, Mother," he answered, reaching for a towel as well. He should have told the servant to bring more clothes; it had slipped his mind.
"We are gathered in the great hall. Your father and brother are waiting for you," she told him, as she started to open the door. With an automatic flick of his hand, Loki slammed the door shut, surprising both himself and Frigga with the sudden action. Had he done that?
"Sorry, Mother. I don't think I'll be attending." He gave no further reason for his absence until Frigga asked for one anyway.
"Oh, do you feel unwell?" The concern had returned to her voice.
"I am a bit tired. Please ask the others to excuse my absence. I will see them tomorrow." He stood up and wrapped a towel around himself, listening for the sound of footsteps leaving the door. There were none.
"Mother?"
"Yes, dear?"
"Have a good time tonight." If that was not a good enough hint, then nothing would work.
"All right. I will check on you later." Now he could hear her walking away, and he breathed a small sigh of relief. Stepping out of the bath, his lower torso covered by the towel, he picked up the fresh bandages and took a few steps toward her, wrapping the bandage around his hand idly.
"We should find you a nightgown," he said gently, failing to recognize the hidden hint in his suggestion. He wanted her to spend the night this evening, not for any specific reason, just to be with her a while longer before they parted.

Never in her life had Sigyn struggled so badly not go gasp and shriek. Frigga was knocking on the door, Loki was getting up, she was standing there butt-naked.....This was not the right order! She should have gotten dressed first, shouldn't she have? Or at least, put a towel around her body. Nervously, she bit her lip and fished for said towel as Loki was conversing with his mother. It was too late, she figured, if he had pleased to do so, he could have taken a peek. There would have been enough time to do so. Sigyn's face was blushed, her hair sticking to her skin in wet strands, but eventually, she managed to put that towel around her body. It was not too big, one inch less and she would have had to choose between exposing either the lower or upper part of her body.
Keeping quiet was not getting easier by Loki shutting the door like this. Clearly, he had shut it. He just hadn't touched it. Telekinesis was nothing strange to Sigyn, yet he had acted so much on impulse, that it just seemed to be another limb, invisible. Impressive and beautiful. And making her wince due to the surprise. She bit her lip harder.
So, she stood there, in a puddle of water, with her arms wrapped awkwardly around her body in order to try and cover herself in front of a man that she loved. She wanted to feel comfortable being like this in front of him. It would probably just take some getting used to.
The pressure of her teeth in her skin as she tried to bite her mouth shut would leave a faint trace. Somehow, this was just...funny. In the very classical meaning of the word. Inwardly, Sigyn was very glad he canceled the celebration and chose to be with her instead. It was much needed. And when Frigga had left, she was prepared to laugh at him, with him, about the situation. Both of them looking this indecent, the puddle on the ground. Fate had a weird way of showing its humor.
But she did not get a chance to laugh. Loki suggested finding a nightgown for her. Nightgown. Night. Gown. Now, of course Sigyn did not want to leave anytime soon. At best, never again. But his straight-forwardness drained the blood from her face. .....and she got him utterly wrong.
Sigyn's misunderstanding let her to ponder the issue more than actually needed. What if she refused now? She had refused before and where had it led them? Besides, she might as well suck it up and get it over with, she wasn't a delicate flower and she loved him, there was nothing wrong with....and actually, he looked kind of alluring, as he was wrapping the bandages around his hand, that gentle authority in his voice. Yes, she might as well suck it up. At least, he had put it decently. Nightgown. He was a man, he had made experiences. Night gown.
Sigyn held his gaze, her face pale, her hands shaking. As she removed the first hand, the towel fell open. Breathe, it's going to be okay,..., she thought....and was about to drop it entirely, if he didn't interfere.

Whether she realized it or not, Loki had no intention of letting Sigyn walk around in wet undergarments. Perhaps she preferred to wear her original gown without them, but Loki had simply assumed she would prefer fresh underclothes and a less soiled dress. "The smell of victory" was probably all over her gown now, thanks to the show they had put on in the yard. It would need to be washed, as would the rest of her clothes, that which she had worn in the tub with him.
He should have voiced his concerns about her clothing more clearly, he realized as the blood drained from her face. Whatever it was she was thinking, it was not what he had intended. He might have teased her about it, but for what she did next.
Her face was an open book, filled with fear and nerves and uncertainty. He saw the way her hands were shaking before she let go of the towel. It might have been the thought of his mother having just left, and her influence on him, or it might have been that there was a semblance of a good man within him yet. Whatever the cause, he reached out and wrapped his hand around hers, the hand that still held part of the towel to her chest.
His fingers brushed against her skin for a moment, long enough for a jolt of butterflies to shoot from his heart to the pit of his stomach. He wanted to pull the towel away, to help her finish the task. Instead he simply held her hand, keeping the remaining bit of towel in place. It took a frightening amount of self-control, and it showed in his eyes.
There were two problems with the situation, as he saw it. The minor problem was that he was still injured. He had not complained about it in the tub, but it was still bothering him, and he knew any strenuous activity would only aggravate it. Granted, he could probably use a spell to heal it, if that had been all that held him back. The bigger issue, however, was Sigyn herself. This was not how he wanted to remember their first time, if that was indeed what she thought he wanted from her. Did she think she needed to sleep with him to keep him? How wrong he had been to make her think so!
He wanted to embrace her, but he did not. Had she come any closer to him, specifically his lower body, she might have figured out just how much self-control he was exercising. A moment passed where he let his gaze drop to admire her body; then he used his free hand to lift her chin so she was looking directly into his eyes, and he into hers.
"Make no mistake. I want you, Sigyn." His voice was as quiet as ever, but there was a strength and certainty in it that had not been there since their reunion in the yard. "I have wanted you since the night we met. In my dreams I have taken you in ways you could not imagine. I have long awaited the moment when I may have you, and as much as I wish to wait no longer, this is not that moment."
He moved the hand that was on her chin slightly, so that his finger trailed the length of her jaw. "I am yours. Do not doubt that. There is nothing to prove to me. We will make love, but only when you are ready. I would have you trembling with want, not trembling in fear."
Lowering his hands, he allowed her to make the final decision, having given his opinion on what they should do. It would be up to her, as usual. He simply did not want to hurt her again in any way.

What was it with him? What gave him that power? Loki took her guard, took her self-control, her ability to wear a straight face, crushed it all together, threw one of those glances, that made her melt, at the pile and tossed it far away. He had always had that power over her. This was not different to their talks in the woods, how she had explained the complicated relationship to her mother to him, how she had cried, laughed and even goofed around. Only that this time - and under these circumstances - Sigyn felt like the most stupid girl to ever roam the nine realms. She had known how to wear a pokerface before and due to Greta's influence, she had also known what it was like to have someone to confide in. But this situation was a first, Sigyn stripped, wet, in front of a man that held all of her affection. She was simply nervous. Was not aware of her assets, didn't know how she wanted to react. And at the same time, this irritated her so much. Sigyn was angry at herself beyond comparison. Usually, when finding herself in a situation that she was not accustomed to, she'd get her act together and learn in order to figure it out. Yet Loki had robbed her of all her skills, had left her naked not only in the physical sense.
The towel did not really cover her body anymore. It was a poor excuse for a gown, too short and hanging down mostly. There was just that one small edge that she clutched with her hand, merely covering the left side of her chest. That was it. And then, he stepped closer and her heart pounded in her chest even more. Of course, there was a hand and a bit of towel between his palm and her body, but he was touching her. And moreover, he was gazing at her, obviously. Strangely, his look did not feel as awkward and unsettling as she had expected. In fact, the admiration and appreciation lingering in it made her feel strangely confident. Like a sublte compliment. Sigyn had always left presenting herself as a ripe, voluptuous vixen to those actually wanting it and being good at it. Gudrun, with her perky breasts, curvy hips and the never-ceasing will to pick her clothing appropriately, probably sending countless dreams through a lot of men's heads, at least, as long as she kept her mouth shut and did not babble. But that didn't mean that she had never thought of lying with someone. After all, she was a living being. Yes, she had wanted Loki, too. Desperately. But being untouched had made her nervous. She wanted him happy, not disappointed. Moreover, she had been so wrapped up in desperately trying to avoid being like Gudrun and the other women, that she had put a distance between herself and Loki in this regard. But now, now he was using that voice on her. It was a quiet timbre, but it was vibrating through her whole body. That gaze, those pale green eyes, his body stripped in front of her. What he confessed made Sigyn shiver so badly, she couldn't contain herself. He would notice. He did not stop at telling her that he wanted her. No, he had imagined it. Sigyn, the one untouched, the odd one out, had made a man fantasize, that could have a lot of women. A man that had had a lot of women. Still, Loki pulled himself together. He didn't only tell her how much he physically wanted her, but he also subtly made clear that his heart cared enough for her to be considerate. This time, he was considerate. He had her in the palm of her hand, her lips were slightly opened, her gaze glossy. Sigyn was so confused. She had expected to feel awkward standing bare like this, yet she didn't. She would have assumed he'd just take her, yet he did not. She had nothing to prove. Absolutely nothing. He'd dress her, he'd take her into his chambers and they'd talk. He'd do whatever she wanted him to do.
And then, there it was again. That anger. Why was she incapable of just going with what her heart wanted and found herself constricted by uneccessary, childish anxieties. In a rush of anger and with a little gasp, Sigyn finally dropped the towel. She didn't touch him, instead, she put her palm against her throat, moved it over her collarbone, that nervous habit she'd never get rid of. But her gaze was fiery as she locked it with his, adamant. Somewhere deep inside of her, the strong woman she actually was yelled at her, the woman that would not shy away from telling even a prince and god of Asgard off, if she so pleased. "Tell me what you want," her voice came out in a husky whisper, "tell me what you saw in your dreams." She was proud. Proud about having sucked it up, proud about getting a bit of her dignity back. And slowly, she realized that it was not only him having her in the palm of his hand, but the other way around, too. And that felt just fantastic.

There it was. There was that look he had longed to see in her eyes. There was the shiver running through her slender frame, sensual and inviting. There was that husky voice of hers, bidding him to share the few thoughts he had never allowed her to know of. It was more than he could have expected in this moment, and he had to wonder whether he was not still on the battlefield, having another blackout of some strange, tortuous variety. How cruel it would be to awaken!
Yet there was something off about the moment, something he had not expected - and, as she dropped the towel completely, something he found it increasingly difficult to put his finger on. Nothing ever really went according to his plans, especially not something as unexpected, as spontaneous as this. But it was bothering him a little, like the knowledge that something had yet to be done without the knowledge of what that something was.
Also, he was not sure what it was he had said or done that had led to this. He had thought his words would lead to them comfortably talking the night away. That would have been fine. Awkward, perhaps. Still, had it been what she wanted, he would have done it. He was hers to command - and, somehow, he did not mind that at all.
What did she want? Her actions told two separate stories, of lust and want, yet of fear and anxiety. He could understand why she might be nervous. This would be her first time lying with a man. He would have to remember that. But what were her motives? Was she doing this for him, for herself, or for them?
His gaze took in her body in full, and a sudden tug in his stomach very unsubtly reminded him that he was thinking too much. He approached her slowly, intentionally making her wait. Where could he start? He had dreamed of her, fantasized about her so often that it was difficult for him to decide where to begin.
As he approached her, the room began to shift, until it was replaced by the walls and decor of his own chambers. He had teleported them there from the bathing room, and in the process had healed his wound as well. Where the intimidating, jagged cut had just been, there was smooth skin, with barely a scar left in its place.
Below the faded wound, he still wore a towel around his waist, for the moment. The fabric felt heavy on him now. There was almost no space between them; he wrapped one arm around her and tilted her chin up again to look at him. When he spoke, his voice betrayed him, laden heavy with desire for her.
"My dear," he said, his voice barely a whisper, "I would much rather show than tell you."
He kissed her then, gently pulling her body closer to his. A test, to see whether she would recoil, how she would respond. He wanted her - had never wanted her so much - but he had to know that she was sure.

How could she possibly not want him? She did! All of him! Sigyn knew that. She just didn't know about the order of things. Was there even an order of things? So far, Loki and her had never followed nor made any rules about their special relationship and that was part of the fascination. They had just let it evolve naturally. There were obstacles. There always were. Some came from the outside, some from right within. But there was nothing wrong with making this step right now, for she knew that this was what she wanted. And somehow, against all reason, Sigyn knew he felt the same way. Of course, she was anxious. Who would not be? This would be taking their relationship to another level and moreover, change a lot for Sigyn. But was she scared? Was she fearing this? No, not really. Just like him, she was thinking too much.
As he was beholding her body, Sigyn raised her chin even more. Somehow, confidence was growing in her, even though anxiety remained. The soft sensation of magic tickled her skin. The room blurred. Loki was teleporting them, as he had done in the past, in the woods, showing her how it worked. Sigyn was not skilled enough yet for that kind of sorcery, but oh, it was coming in handy right now.
When they had fully arrived in the room, she realized that his wound was gone. Why hadn't he healed himself before? Sigyn didn't realize that he had not been capable of doing so, emotionally, physically. Now, where had been a horrible wound, perfect, alabaster skin was covering his muscles again. Loki was looking absolutely flawless. Yes, he looked different than most warriors around him, so much different than Thor. But he was beautiful to her and that was all that mattered. His jet-black hair was still damp, his eyes glistening. So were hers. As he closed the distance, she felt that the desire in his voice was no lie. By the allfather!, that tiny voice inside of her yelled. But it was too late now to back off. Sigyn didn't want to. Her body was tingling with sensations she had not known before. Anxiety turned into anticipation. And that kind of anticipation in connection to her heart beating with love for him was the greatest goddamn feeling she had ever felt.
Sigyn arched her back, bringing their bodies closer. Her hands came to rest on his chest. And when he kissed her, she cupped the back of his head, brushing her fingers into that dark hair of his to hold him in place. The desire her own kiss bared was a surprise even to her. And it made her answer perfectly clear.
----
Sigyn put her arm across his stomach and put her cheek on his chest, inhaling and exhaling deeply. His bed was just the most comfortable thing she had ever rested in. Truly, appropriate furnishing for a king. The heavy scent of sex was lingering heavily in the air as only minutes had passed after they had lain with each other for the first time. It had exceeded her expectations, his care and affection had eased the pain and eventually, Sigyn had taken a ride that had been more intense than anything she had ever done before. Now, she felt slightly dizzy, exhausted, but the happiest she had ever been. Her heart was still beating fast, her skin damp with sweat.
Gently, her fingertips drew circles on his chest, moved down to where his wound was. There, her hand came to rest. "How do you do that?", she whispered, "Robbing me of all my reason and sense. I have nothing on you and yet, I wouldn't have it any other way."

If he had not known it before, he knew it now.
He was looking at her, his chest still heaving as he caught his breath. The way her hair was strewn about her gave her a somewhat wild look, as did the way she was also struggling for composure. He liked that look on her. He also liked the fact that he had been responsible for that look.
They had not, in fact, acted out one of his fantasies of her. She had done him one better. In his imaginings, he had underestimated the accuracy with which she would intuit his wants and needs, how she would respond to him without him having to say a word. And so he'd had to adjust his plans. The result had been more than the sum of his expectations. Before, he had liked women; now, he needed a woman, this woman, in his bed and in his life. No other could match her wit, her thoughtfulness, her skill.
His life as a single male was over.
This was a first for him as well. She was the first woman he would not simply count as a notch in his bedpost. There had been others whom he had seen again, for various reasons. But he had eventually cut them loose and found another; somehow, without the use of any magic, he knew he would not let Sigyn go that easily. She offered him more than just sex. Companionship, trust, love -love. Love.
He had no idea what love would feel like. There was the love he felt for his parents and brother, but that was different. He had long since grown accustomed to that. This was a need, a selfishness, mixed with something else, intangible but strong, unnamed. Concern for her, caring, and something he wanted to call affection. He had been very careful with her, more so than he had thought himself capable of.
Her voice reached his ears. It was like the first time hearing her speak, every time. She asked him something he could not comprehend, and it was not simply because his ability to think was still returning to him. What did she mean by having nothing on him?
"You could have everything," he answered. His voice was alien to him; hers was more familiar. "You could have all of me." What was he even talking about? He was mad, he was lost, he was still spinning somewhere in the oblivion they had created. Perhaps it was that they had robbed each other of sense.
"How do you come into my life and fill the void in me I had not known existed? How do you make me want to be a better man?" he asked, so quietly, looking at her with a tender gaze, his hand coming to rest on her cheek.

Sometimes, Sigyn had thought that insisting on marrying only if she found love had been yet another way of showing her mother that she could not turn Sigyn into someone she would not be. It all had come down to her assumption that she'd only marry for love, but finding it would be an impossible mission. She had been different all along, but she had truly never expected to find someone like her and then eventually, fall in love with him.
But it had happened. And it hadn't happened in this room an hour ago, but long before. She could not say that it had happened during that fateful night of the ball back then, because in contrast to Loki, she had had more boundaries concerning the other sex. But it had started there. And when he had been gone and she had been hurt, she had only realized how much she needed him. How much she wanted him, regardless of what he did, even if it meant hurting her. She'd stay with him, even if he hurt her again. And that gave him the most power over her someone could have.
As he talked, she did not understand. What did that mean? She could have all of him? That suggested a problem, something that had yet not been said. There was a condition Sigyn had no clue about. But there was no time for her to ask, since Loki was continuing to talk. Confessing. Upon feeling his touch, Sigyn lifted her head. Loki, resting on the handmade pillows, was beneath her now, as she supported her body with her elbow on the bed. Her hair framed her face, it was so long, it even touched his. Her lashes felt so heavy, her movements delayed. She truly needed some physical recovery. "What do you mean, I could have all of you?", she whispered, brushing her fingertips over his cheek, "is there something I don't know, Loki? Because if so, I need to know. Always." She couldn't help but gently kiss him, though. Did she want to make him a better man? No. Sigyn just wanted to be with him, no matter what.

Could? He had used the wrong word again. Or had he? Loki would never admit it to anyone, not even himself, but he was as scared as Sigyn had been. He did nt want to give of himself if she would only abandon him in time. What if he never got that part of himself back?
"I don't know what I mean," he admitted, still a little hazy while he tried to regain his focus. He had to trust her. It was difficult. He'd never had much of a need for trust in his life. But if they were to be together, it would be necessary. Besides, he had to consider it from her side. She would have to trust him as well, and how much harder must it be to trust the prince of lies?
He quite simply did not want to be hurt. Having never had the love of Odin - or so it felt to him - he had closed himself off from further pain. Now a woman was asking him to open back up - no, he was asking himself to. He was just wary of the consequences.
Was there something he needed to tell her? Yes, desperately. But he had not yet told it to himself. He disallowed it. It was too risky. It was too soon. He was unsure. He was scared. He was the one impeding their relationship, and why? Simply because he could not find it within himself to conquer his fears.
He needed to be stronger. Weakness - as he saw it - was not in his nature. How could it be? He was a prince, a god. One woman could not have damaged him so. But if it was damage, how had being near her made him able to heal his wounds? She had helped him recover himself physically and emotionally. How was that weakness?
Her gentle kiss helped him gather his thoughts, oddly enough. It was only temporary, he was sure. If she thought she was getting any sleep tonight, she was sorely mistaken.
"I only know that this feels right. I know that I felt lost without you. You do something to me, something I like." He gave her a soft smile. "I think you know more about me than I do myself. But if there is something you wish to know, all you need do is ask."
He had no idea what kinds of questions he was opening himself up to here, but she already knew most of his deep secrets - his jealousy, his past, and so on. This was the first step in him learning to trust. And in fact, it wasn't so bad.

Sigyn had had plenty time to figure out that there was no other way. There was no life worth living without him anymore, she had come to realize this when he had been gone, in battle. Even though he had not treated her well, even though he had been haughty about his betrayal. She couldn't help it. Sigyn had always felt like she didn't belong entirely, but she had thought getting used to it would make it feel better. It hadn't. But Loki was making her feel better. It was more than that, she finally felt like she fucking belonged somewhere. As much as she clung to her independence, giving that up for him did not even feel bad. She wasn't scared to give herself to him entirely. She already had. Sigyn was an open book to Loki. Maybe, given what had happened before he had departed, she was a bit scared he'd hurt her again. But the most important decision had been made. She was his and nothing would change that.
Sigyn didn't want to let her fears conquer her. And the only way to prevent that was voicing them. Making them as real as possible. Loki did not seem to be at that point. He was confusing her, Loki had always known what to say and what to do. And now, he didn't? And moreover, he let her know that he didn't. Sigyn almost felt sorry for him.
"You are one bewildering man, Prince Loki," Sigyn said, a faint, teasing smile on her lips as she lowered her head yet again, leaning in for another kiss. This time, it lingered for a moment. When she released him, she remained close enough for their noses to almost touch. "I want all of it. All of you," she said, sounding more earnest this time. She was exposing herself to him, Sigyn knew that. But Loki knew how much she craved him anyway, didn't he? "I have not hastened to find you today on a whim. The thought of having to go back to my parents' home occurs strange to me. You are my home now." She would have to go back. They were not married, Sigyn could not spend her days and moreover, nights in his chambers. She knew, eventually, she'd have to depart. This night would last and linger and it'd be beautiful, no matter what happened. But in the morning, Sigyn would have to leave him.
Only to return as soon as possible.

The voice in Loki's head that warned him to use caution began to die down a little as Sigyn teased and kissed him. This kiss spoke of understanding, of pure intentions, and it lingered on his lips even after the kiss was ended. His gaze held hers as she spoke. Those beautiful blue eyes, so expressive, told him she was being honest and open. Surely he could do the same for her. He was just so out of practice.
Would she be frightened if he told her his plans? That he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her? Was it too soon to say so? He feared pushing her away again. Fear. It was the fear that stopped him, fear of losing her, of losing himself. Never before had he found himself face to face with fear like this, and he was unsure how to react.
But then she told him that he was her home. At those words, he buried his face in the crook of her neck, placing a little kiss on her skin. When he looked at her again, it was with pure adoration, and his eyes glistened slightly.
"And you are mine," he said softly, They may have been in his physical home, but the fact that he would have to continue his own life as though nothing had changed bothered him. It felt as though everything had changed. He had changed. And he was certain everyone would notice. Perhaps it was best that they make it official now, tell their families of their plans. There was no hiding it anymore.
"Would you have all of me, Sigyn? The liar, the trickster, the scoundrel? I cannot lie to you, my dear, but I also cannot change who I am to the world. Not so simply." He wrapped an arm around her waist, his fingers idly sweeping along her skin. "For I would have all of you, but you are flawless to me."

How could anything be too soon? For her, it was a sealed deal anyway. Marriage or not, making something official or not. She was sold. There were particular things people expected of them, as much as both of them hated that they were supposed to do anything, if they wanted to continue living here and keeping their faces, some things would have to be done, measures had to be taken. Moreover, calling him her husband would make her insanely proud. In a very non-Sigyn-like way. She rarely showed off, least of all, someone else.
If push came to shove, Sigyn wouldn't hestiate to run away with him. To wherever they were headed to. She would not ponder for a single second. Question was, did they want to tempt fate that much? She didn't, necessarily. The task at hand was not a task she disliked. But yet again, it was not hers to demand or ask for. On the other hand, neither of them could possibly introduce the other to their families, without telling them that they'd get married. You did not introduce your temporary fling or affair to your relatives. Sigyn would have to sneak out in the morning, a better harlot, something tentative, someone that did not mean a thing. However, for now, she was indulging in the moment, finally being with him. Naked. In his bed, staring into those breathtaking green eyes of his. She smiled, drawing a pattern on his cheek gingerly, "The liar, trickster and scoundrel come with a gentleman, occasional goofball and amazing lover. I think I am making quite a bargain here," she said with a slight chuckle on her face, patting the tip of his nose with her finger. That finger was raised a second later, "However, I'd appreciate the liar and trickster to lie and trick to anyone but me." Yes, she was head over heels for him. But that didn't mean she'd be his doormat for eternity. Sigyn had fought to much to pursue her own visions and personality to put herself into this position. "Oh, Loki,", she sighed sweetly, lowering her lips down to his, "I'm not flawless. Wait until you get under my skin and I'll throw a temper tantrum. Wait until I turn stubborn again. I don't want anything to be perfect, I just want to be with you and I want the realm to know you're mine, so I'll be allowed to cut every harlot that makes a move towards you in half."
